A Diploma Course in Holistic Pain Relief Techniques

This unique programme has been specially written for us by a Chiropractor and is designed for all those who have completed a body work therapy e.g. Massage, Aromatherapy or Reflexology. Every therapist will find this course invaluable for establishing their treatment techniques for specific pain patterns and improving and extending client care. These additional skills will give you an added dimension to your techniques as a therapist.
You will need to have been in practice as a therapist for a minimum of 6 months and must have an excellent knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology.
What does the course cover?
The course is comprised of 5 modules covering:
* Principles of treatment and treatment techniques
* An overview of how & why pain occurs in the muscular, skeletal system.
* Pain patterns in the Thoracic, Spine & Rib Cage.
* Shoulder, Neck and Head Pain: Covers the symptoms and treatment for pain patterns in these specific areas.
* Low Back Pain
* Hip, Knee and Foot Pain.
* Final Examination
* Recommended reading bibliography.
Having passed the final examination the candidate will receive a Diploma and will be entitled to use the letters C.H.Ed Dip PaRe (Complementary Health Education Diploma in Pain Relief Techniques).
