I thought I would contact you to pass on my thanks for my first experience on a Kevala yoga tutorial on 11/12 march 2006

I arrived at Kevala on the Saturday looking forward to knowing more about the chakras in yoga as well as feeling a little apprehensive, as I did not really know what to expect. Jacqueline was there to greet us as well as Sarah (the weekend's tutor) which felt welcoming.  For those that haven't visited Kevala it is a very relaxing and serene experience and would be particularly lovely in the warmer weather when sitting in the garden would be possible..not always likely in March!! And not brave enough for a dip in the spa.

The weekend was a combination of asana work, meditation, chanting and mudras all related to the chakras.  This was a subject that I knew very little about but it gave me an insight into the subject as well as leaving me wanting more. Sarah passed on her enthusiasm and knowledge on the subject as well as introducing new items for me ...like the mudras.  In fact I brought the book on mudras!! Sarah also supported us through the observed teaching on the second day and, as always, was positive and helped us feel we could do it, amongst the nerves and laughter.

Just when you feel that you have read everything there is always more to learn , the subject gets bigger and bigger

I'm now looking forward to further weekends to learn more.
