The Kevala Centre

The tutorials are held in a large converted and updated coach house and set in landscaped gardens. If you attend a tutorial during the spring and summer you can take advantage of the sunshine and scents by eating your lunch out on the patio or the seating overlooking the Centre, with views of the beach and surrounding coastline. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and you will be pleased to know the ambience is unlike your school or college days.

Directions to the Kevala Centre, Sea Breezes, Vale of Glamorgan

Directions From the M4 (East)

1.       Leave M4 at Junction 33.

2.       At end of slip road take first exit onto A4232 (towards Cardiff Airport).

3.       After approx. 3.1 miles turn off onto the slip road (sign posted to Cardiff Airport).

4.       At roundabout take 4^th exit, sign posted ‘A48’ ‘Cowbridge’, ‘St Nicholas’. (do not follow signs for the airport at this stage)

5.       Almost immediately go straight over at traffic lights.

6.       Stay on the A48, through St Nicholas (30mph limit).

7.       Once through St Nicholas, Cottrell Park will be on the right.

8.       Keep going straight past Cottrell Park, up slight hill and turn left at junction. (towards Barry A4226)

9.       Follow this road for approx. 4.3 miles. *please note speed camera in 40mph zone*

10.   Welsh Hawking Centre will be on the left and soon after you will come to a roundabout.

11.   Take 3^rd exit, sign posted ‘Cardiff Airport’, ‘Llantwit Major’, ‘St Athan’ (A4226).

12.   At next roundabout take 1^st exit, sign posted ‘Cardiff Airport’, ‘Porthkerry’.

13.   At next roundabout take 2^nd exit (straight over) sign posted ‘Through Traffic’.

14.   At next roundabout take 1^st exit sign posted ‘Porthkerry’ ‘Rhoose’ ‘Fontygary’.

15.   The runway will run alongside to the right of you.

16.   As the road starts to bear round to the right, turn left. Sign posted ‘Porthkerry’.

17.   Immediately the road bears round to the left, follow down past the farm and church.

18.   At fork by the church take the right-hand private drive to ‘Sea Breezes’.

19.   The Kevala Centre is the yellow building at the end of the drive.

Midlands Venue

A large Victorian House, with training rooms and a shop. There is a kitchen with an oven and microwave and coffee and tea making facilities.

Go past go over the traffic lights turning immediate left into the Catholic Church car park where you can leave your car. Walk back to PPA and come to the back door where you will be greeted.

North Perimeter Road

and turn left onto

Derby Road

. Turn left again at the next set of lights onto

Leicester Road

. As you approach the third set of lights you will see a church on your right. Turn into the Church car park where you can leave your car. From the car park entrance turn right, cross the road called

Spa Lane

and the house you are in front of is PPA. Walk down past the green hedge and come in through the back door where you will be greeted.

London Road

. Go past pedestrian lights and set of traffic lights near Holywell pub. Keep going, following the road round and just as you see a third set of lights, on your right is the back of a large house with green railings, a large hedge and block paved drive. This is PPA. Go past the house and turn left at the traffic lights and first left again into the Catholic Church car park where you can leave your car. Walk back to PPA and come to the back door where you will be greeted.

and another set of traffic lights near the Holywell pub. Keep going, following the road round onto

and follow it round as it bends to the right. Carry on up this road for a few hundred yards – you will pass Bowling Green Road on right, then a track road, then you will see the back of the house with big green gates on your right, immediately prior to more traffic lights. This is PPA. Go past and turn left at the traffic lights and first left again into the Catholic Church car park where you can leave your car. Walk back to PPA and come to the back door where you will be greeted.
